At Immaculate Heart of Mary School, we deliver an outstanding level of education in a safe community environment. A smaller school where everyone knows and welcomes your child.

Results
Did you know, Immaculate Heart of Mary School is one of the best performing primary schools in Adelaide, based on NAPLAN results published in December 2024.
Our Early Years Literacy program targets fluency in language from Reception to Year 2, laying the foundations for a confident and happy child.
Quality
Quality teaching and learning begins with an investment in our teachers’ professional development. High impact classroom strategies shape their delivery of the curriculum for the best learning outcomes.
Daily explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy is balanced with inquiry learning to build creative thinking.
Space
Our modern facilities include specialist learning spaces for Auslan and STEM. Our new Wellbeing Hub offers a dedicated space for social and emotional learning. Recent building works also delivered four refurbished learning spaces for our Early Years.
Personalised
We engage with every child to ensure they are on their best learning path.
In 2025, we introduce our ‘Flourishing Hearts’ program to further meet the needs of each child who excels. This extension and enrichment program offers differentiated teaching in class and extracurricular learning opportunities.
We are equally proud of our intervention programs to support a child with diverse learning needs. We work with families and outside agencies as needed, to design a personalised learning plan.
Wellbeing
Our commitment to your child’s wellbeing is reflected in our 2024 Pulse Survey 92% satisfaction rating demonstrating a child centred environment.
Faith
In the Catholic Church’s Jubilee, ‘Year of Hope’, we celebrate Hope as one of the five pillars underpinning our Sacred Heart school culture: Hope, Love, Connectedness, Inclusivity and Justice.
